Taputeranga Island in Island Bay, Wellington, looking into Cook Strait.
Headed round to a bay further south. The southerly blew up suddenly and the bay filled with white caps and lifted sea spray about way in the air, so it looked like smoke on the water.
Picked up seven or eight hungry monarch butterfly larvae (caterpillars) from Arlene's place today and relocated them to our luscious swan plants this morning. Chomp chomp.
Standing by for cocoons and flutter byes.
